Etched Films is an Indian company, based in Mumbai, engaged in producing films and shows. The production company formed in 2023, has a sharp focus on telling varying mainstream and alternate stories depending on the showcasing platforms.
The company is creatively led by writer C director Harshavardhan Kulkarni (Hunterrr, Badhai Do) and Kirti Nakhwa, who’s an editor (Hunterrr, Badhai do) and a writer. The other partner is Raja Tangudu (Prod: Hunterrr), who specializes in production and heads the producing side with Ranjan Singh, a film industry professional with 2 decades of experience in Production, Distribution C Exhibition.
Since its establishment, the company has been developing content with new age and unique voices of Indian cinema like Prateek Vats (Eeb Allay Ooo) and Akshat Ghildial (Badhai Ho, Badhai Do). The company also is nurturing new talent including writers and directors.
Currently, Etched’s projects include an in-production (untitled) film with Junglee Pictures, which will be directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, and the next film by Prateek Vats, which is a co-production with Anurag Kashyap, and an international studio. With various other films and shows, including the debut films by Kirti Nakhwa and Vikram Dawar, in different stages of development, Etched Films is growing fast as a path breaking content company.
